Find your way to the Convento
Underground Azul (blue):
Stop "Restauradores". Exit Praca dos Restauradores
Straight ahead, passing on the left hand side a cafe, Loja
do cidadao, Hotel Eden and Palacio Foz. After the palacio
turn left into the Calcada da Gloria. There you can either
take the stairway or the tram. On top turn left into the Rua
de Sao Pedro de Alcantara. Take then the first street on the
right, the Travessa da Agua da Flor. Straight ahead until
you stand in front of the Convento’s wall. You will find
the entrance around the left corner.
Underground Azul (blue) or Verde
(green)
Stop "Baixa-Chiado". Exit Largo do Chiado
cross Largo do Chiado and Praca Camoes. Away from Praca Camoes
leads Rua d. Loreto (later the same road is called Calcada
do Combro) Turn right into Rua Luz Soriano, which will lead
you directly to the Convento.
Underground Amarela (yellow):
Stop "Rato". Exit Rua da Escola Politécnica
Follow Rua da Escola Politécnica until you reach the
park on Praca do Principe Real. At the end of the park, Rua
da Escola Politécnica leads into Rua Dom Pedro V. The
third street on your right is called Rua da Rosa. Follow this
street until you reach the Travessa dos Inglesinhos, the fifth
street on the right. There you will find the entrance to the
Convento.
